Shannon's talent to create a unique, quality client experience contributed to her success as art director for one of the nation's top 200 salons. Shannon dreamed of building "the finest salon experience" by combining her intensive training and experience. Her concept of bel ami Salon became her work in progress.

Shannon's commitment to the bel ami team and clients is evident in her skill and continual, national training with the respective industry professionals. Shannon's specialized expertise includes Master Hair Coloring with Jaques Dessange Advanced Color and Highlighting in Manhattan, Schwarzkopf Advanced Color, L'Oreal Color Keys and Framesi Advanced Coloring. While Shannon's hair color technique and expert eye is her strong suite, her training also includes Toni and Guy Advanced Cutting, Bumble and Bumble Design Studio New York, American Crew for Men, and Brazilian Blowouts. Shannon creatively designs and executes hairstyles to please all types of clients.

Ingrid is Austrian born and brings a uniquely European flare to bel ami. Ingrid's career began in her native land of Austria, where she spent three years training and working as an apprentice. After spending time as a hair stylist in both Texas and California, Ingrid settled in Colorado and become a valuable member of the bel ami team.

Ingrid's experience includes Paul Mitchell Advanced Cutting, Hands On John Paul and Sam Brocato, Visible Changes Academy Houston, Texas, Toni and Guy Advanced Cutting, Bumble and bumble Design Studio New York , American Crew for Men, L'Oreal Color Keys, Schwarzkopf and Framesi Advanced Coloring.

Maggie is a native to the Colorado area and is a second-generation hair stylist. Maggie has brought her natural creativity and passion for her craft to the bel ami team where she continues her training and growth. She has spent many hours training with industry leaders and plans to continue her education and advancing her skills.

Maggie's training include: Network Educator, Bumble and bumble Styling Class, Phyto Cutting Class, advanced color techniques with The American Board of certified colorist, Framesi Goldwell, and Redkin advanced coloring and techniques. Framesi Italian style cutting, Bumble and bumble of New York razor cutting and cutting for men.

Erin has further enhanced her skills through a 6 month apprenticeship and a variety of advanced level training courses which eventually led her to bel ami.

An element Erin has found most rewarding about her career is taking a client’s thoughts and working with them to visualize the outcome. Erin feels fortunate to be part of such a wonderfully skilled group of stylists at bel ami.

Lynn has the knowledge and skill that she has gained over the years in the Salon Industry. Whether classic cuts or modern styling, Lynn continues to learn and enjoy working with clients.

Lynn's training includes, Toni & Guy advanced cutting, Joe's grooming for men, advanced color with Schwarzkopf and Framesi, Bumble and bumble of New York Hair Design School and Product knowledge, and Phyto Product Knowledge and Haircutting Techniques.

Dianne has returned to the beauty industry where she has more than 30 years of experience. She brings extensive management and training to the salon and has served as an education director at her previous salon. In addition, Dianne has had a private practice as a massage therapist for over 19 years. You will quickly find that Dianne's extensive training allows her to tailor your appointment to fit your needs. She enjoys offering each client artistic yet practical solutions to their "hair problems" and you will leave feeling pampered. In her free time, Dianne loves making greeting cards and gift wrap and on warmer days she will be outside gardening and working on her landscape design.

Dianne's Training includes: Completed the Phyto cutting classes, Bumble and bumble cutting classes, Bumble and bumble Styling and Product Knowledge Classes, Framesi Advanced Color Classes, Toni and Guy Basic and Advanced cutting classes, American Crew class, L'Oreal Color Keys, Phyto Advanced Cutting and Advanced Product Knowledge Classes.

Jillian, our native Coloradoan, attended Fossil Ridge High School and pursued her dream of playing college volleyball at Western Nebraska. However, her overwhelming love for hair and makeup tempted her away from volleyball where she decided to pursue a cosmetology degree at Regency Beauty Institute. Her bubbly and fun personality brings out the best in her work. You will quickly learn that her goals are to make each client unique and you will leave the salon feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Jillian loves to spend time with her family, especially her nieces!! She enjoys her daily workouts and finding time to still play volleyball whenever possible, but motorcycling is a passion of her family’s, so you never know when there might be a day when you see her out riding with her family!!!

Jillian's Training includes: Completed the Apprenticeship Program at bel ami salon, Phyto cutting classes, Bumble and bumble cutting classes, Bumble and bumble Styling and Product Knowledge Classes, Framesi Advanced Color Classes, Phyto Advanced Cutting and Advanced Product Knowledge Classes, a Lanza cut and color class and most recently she attended an all day TIGI cut and color class.

Kristina, originally from Castle Rock, is the newest stylist to the bel ami team. She started her career as an apprentice in a Denver Salon and has recently relocated to Fort Collins. While her training gives her the ability to do it all, Kristina’s favorite technique is creative coloring to add a little bit of funk to everyday style. Kristina’s education and training includes: Academy of Cosmetology Arts, Brazilian Blowout, Bumble and Bumble, Phyto and Lanza product knowledge, Phyto cutting class, TIGI Foundations cutting class, American Crew clipper class, Mirabella make up class, Charlie Price formal hair styling and Phyto formal hair styles.

Hilary’s 10 years of experience started as an apprentice in a northern Colorado salon. The CSU graduate has perfected her craft over the years and we are proud to have her as a part of the bel ami team. Hilary’s expertise is with naturally curly hair and she enjoys making over bridal parties. Hilary’s education and training includes: American Crew men’s cutting, Charlie Price formal hair styling, Bumble and Bumble educational classes and product knowledge, Mirabella make-up and Framesi and Provana advanced color classes.

Libby, our photographer by trade, is our newest addition to the Front Desk Staff. Although she is the youngest of the Abbott girls to be added as part of our team, she brings with her the knowledge and education of growing up in the salon. With this foundation she is able to easily assist clients in all aspects. We are excited that Libby still has one more year left at Rocky Mountain High School before she is off to pursue her career in Graphic Design and Photography.

Danielle, the world traveler and Shannon’s middle daughter, returns each summer to rejoin our team, when she needs a break from her rigorous college studies. Growing up in the family salon business, Danielle has more experience and knowledge of the “ins and outs” of the salon, that we can safely say that she has trained most of the front desk staff in the effective management of the salon. We are excited that Danielle will spend one more summer with us before she continues on her career path.
